To promote positive parenting and build closer parent-child relationships, our school organized "I Have Arrived" Short Film Screening & Parent-Child Sharing Event on the evening of Friday, 19th December. We once again invited Mr. Carl Chung, Director of the Positive Education Institute, to host the event. We hope that through a heartwarming film and professional guidance, a bridge for positive communication can be built between parents and children, allowing everyone to learn to appreciate, grateful and express love.
The film "I Have Arrived" uses the imagery of clocks and watches as a central theme, observing the daily interactions between a father, his daughter and mother from a child's perspective. Every attendee watched attentively, and the dialogues or scenes in the film may have touched many hearts. Do we sometimes become perpetually "irritable" due to the "pressures" of our life? Do we take the time to have meaningful conversations with our parents and children, expressing "love" and "appreciation" to one another?
After the film screening, we arranged a sharing session and a parent-child drawing activity. It was heartwarming to see parents and children expressing their feelings through drawings or writing short messages, creating touching and heartwarming scenes! We look forward to more families participating in the positive education activities organized by our school, allowing love to overflow in our homes and accompany our children as they grow up!
