School-community cooperative education is an education model that integrates school and community resources to jointly promote the all-round development of students. This collaboration not only enhances the student learning experience, but also strengthens the connection between the school and the community.
Students from the SDG volunteer team and the Charity Youth League went to Jiawei Village and carried out two meaningful visits. This trip aims to care for the elders in the community and allow students to learn and grow through service.
Learn massage techniques
Under the guidance of professional masseuses, students learned basic massage techniques to help the elderly relieve fatigue. This not only enhances their empathy but also allows them to feel the power of caring.
Creative painted mandala
Everyone draws mandala together, and through the exchange of colors and patterns, the elders can relieve stress in a relaxed atmosphere. The students shared their creations with the elders, which enhanced their emotional connection with each other.
This visit not only made the elders feel cared for, but also allowed the students to grow through their dedication. I hope there will be more opportunities to care for and serve the society in the future!
