This year, our fifth-year students actively participated in the Jockey Club Growth Opportunity Scheme. This scheme promotes student growth and community integration through multiple dimensions, encompassing community cooperation, holistic student development, leadership development, policy optimization and reform, and deep parental involvement. It comprehensively builds a platform for students to practice and grow, expanding their learning space while injecting positive energy into the community and promoting its continued positive development.
On campus, students diligently conceived and brainstormed, focusing on two core directions: first, developing health programs suitable for the elderly to help them develop good living habits and improve their physical function and quality of life; second, designing fun games, heartwarming services, and interactive activities to enrich the daily spiritual life of the elderly and alleviate loneliness.
In the program, each student becomes the executive director of the growth "machine", with the right to make independent decisions. They plan, allocate and use the resources at their disposal, and participate in the whole process from idea preparation and program design to implementation. They take practical actions to care for the elderly and serve the community, and use their innocence and creativity to bring warm and positive changes to the community.
