Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom: From Community to the World

This academic year, the school's Science and Humanities departments will arrange two field trips. The first trip, from December 3rd to 5th, 2025, will include various themed field trips for students from grades 1 to 6, allowing them to broaden their horizons across different learning areas and connect textbook knowledge with the real world.

Primary 5 students will visit the Hong Kong Nature Education Centre and Planetarium, deepening their understanding of the natural environment and the universe through hands-on observation of landforms, ecology, and astronomical phenomena, and cultivating a spirit of scientific inquiry.

Through these graded field trips, students learn about natural science, environmental protection, and sustainable development in real-world contexts. Under the guidance of teachers, they will prepare before class, observe on-site, and reflect upon their observations at school, gradually cultivating an attitude of caring for society, cherishing resources, and protecting the Earth, putting into practice the spirit of "learning from life." Primary 1 students will visit the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, learning about biodiversity and cherishing life through close observation of plants and animals, establishing an attitude of treasuring nature from a young age.
